Rite of Passage
I helped my coworker Jackie Ricciardi out with three out of the four articles for her beautiful photo essays where she followed different incoming members of the Class of 2020 at Boston University in a series called Rite of Passage.
The first was about the Robson twins, who faced and have overcome incredible familial challenges leading up to their matriculation. The second took a look at Mandy Yao, who moved with her family from China ten years ago. The final essay was about Skylar Singer, who rises above challenges every day in the face of anxiety and sleep deprivation.
Love Stories
For the past few years, BU Today has put a call out to couples who have met while at BU around Valentine’s Day. It was so fun to hear about partners’ stories and how their love started on Comm Ave.
Two’s Company
What’s it like to be a twin on the same campus? This was the driving question in this photo essay that my coworker Jackie and I got to explore.
