This voice, this song, remind me so much of my unruly friend and ancient love Lane who passed in 2019. Right before he moved on from this life to another, he reached out. We were meant to have a surf in NH. And then he was gone. Macklemore’s voice always reminds me of him, and this one, a new one to me, came on the past couple weeks on Spotify.
