Sara Dyer is a writer residing in New England. She writes non fiction--vignettes on life and surfing with a focus on movement, adventure, gratitude, dreams, introvert angst and overwhelm—as well as fiction, poetry and younger people’s books. She makes lots of lists of things that never get done and she's happiest when her phone is dead. Her most likely whereabouts are at the local beach poking barnacles, paddling out on her longboard and watching birds fly in the air. Her debut essay collection, Be Surf: A Surfer's Brief Manual for Living was published in August 2020. She lives in Maine with two magical creatures—her boyfriend and a second-to-none, paws-itively fabulous dog named Whaler.
